Hi, Fred !

Check at the library for:

"D-Day,
Warren Tate, author,
Collier Books, div. of Macmillin Publishing, NYNY, publisher, C/R, 1974." 256 pages.
Reference number: 940.54-T

In my opinion, this is perhaps the definitive account of the invasion of Europe by the Allied forces.

Action pictures, maps and details galore.

I caught mine at a library surplus sale for $5.00, and wouldn't take $500.00 for it.

The singular map of the operations 6 June 44, is spectacular, pin-pointing the beaches, the invading forces, as well as the defending forces.

Another example shows the exact locations and names of all German forces on line in the defence of occupied France,
Belgium and the Neatherlands on 6 June 1944.

If I can get permission, I will be pleased to scan these for you, but I am not too optimistic about the prospect.

Your best shot would be the library.

I'll see what I can do. OK ?

Louie.
