Does anyone have any information that would provide what relationship, if any, there was between these two men? Col. Antonio Zapata is described as having been a rancher for whom Zapata Co. is named after. However, I have seen the name Nicolas Zapata listed as one of the porciones along the Rio Grande in the Starr/Zapata Co. areas.
